Welcome 2026 Fernwood Frog Swimmers!!!

We are super excited for a FUN summer of team swimming. We've seen children's abilities greatly improve while having fun practicing and competing in summer swim league. Plus they will meet tons of new friends. Have your child join the team!

Click on the Registration button above to sign up to be a member of the 2026 Fernwood Summer Swim Team.  At this time we are only able to accept swimmers who are also members of Fernwood Pool.  Please check out our Fernwood Pool website for information about membership.

There will be an important virtual parent information meeting on April 27th, at 7pm to provide a wide variety of new information for this season.  In the mean time, become familiar with this site and the SwimTopia Mobile App that we will be using to provide all things Fernwood Frog this summer.

Monday

Morning (all ages):  9:30am - 10:30am

Afternoon:

10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 18 & under: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

6 & under, 8 & Under: 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Tuesday

Morning (all ages): FIRE UP THE FROGS!!!  9:30 - 10:30

Afternoon:  SWIM MEET

Wednesday

Morning:  NO MORNING PRACTICE

Afternoon:

10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 18 & under: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

6 & under, 8 & Under: 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Thursday

Morning (all ages): 9:30am - 10:30am

Afternoon:

10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 18 & under: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Friday

Morning (all ages): 9:30am - 10:30am

Afternoon:  NO PRACTICE

***Swimmers are encouraged to participate in as many practices as they are capable of attending.  There is a very short window to practice new strokes before our very first meet.***

Swimmers can compete with us from ages 5 - 18.  Practices will be broken up into age groups once we gauge the number and age of our swimmers who need practice.

Meets

Meets are held on Tuesday evenings.  Warm-ups start around 5pm and the meets normally run from 6pm until ~8/8:30pm.  Our season schedule is posted on this site. (And these ARE ACCURATE for 2026). Meets can change slightly even during the season due to weather and other factors outside of our control.  

In order to run a successful swim meet, active parent volunteers and committed swimmers are crucial.  

• We will be requiring parents to commit their swimmer(s) to the meet by midnight the THURSDAY before the meet.  There is a LOT of coordination and paperwork that must be done in order to correctly create a schedule for a swim meet, and we MUST know who is able to swim that night.

• All swimmers who participate in a meet MUST have at least one adult volunteer.  Check out the Swim Meet 101 tab to find a volunteer job that you would like to do.  We have something for everyone's talents!
